This brewpub opened in July 1988 but did not begin brewing on site until December 21, 1988. It is located in Portland's historic Old Port area just a few blocks from the waterfront and was Maine's first brewpub. They use a 7-bbl Peter Austin brewhouse and have opened a second location in Freeport, ME.
