Oskar Blues Brewery
Lyons, Colorado This small brewpub and microbrewery opened in March 1999 when a 6-bbl brewhouse was installed in an existing bar located about half way between Boulder and Estes Park. Oskar Blues Brewery was the first microbrewery in the United States to can their own beer. Prior to that time, microbreweries contracted the canning of their beer to other breweries with canning lines. Click here to see cans produced at the Longmont Colorado location which openend in April 2009. |
